Sixth European Deaf Championship took place from 21 to 28 Aug., 2010 in Sofia. Some 120 athletes and coaches participated in this event.

The Bulgarian national team to the Sports Deaf Federation of Bulgaria made a worthy participation and met the expectations of the Federation Management, by acquiring 3rd position in the finals. Our  badmington players won two silver and two bronze medals.

Regretfully, while striving for the gold medal with a leading result of 17 vs 11 points in the decisive game, our favorite Ms. Gergana Baramova remained second of the singles due to a trauma, that deprived her to participate in the final game for women.

 D Bank has  rendered financial support to SDFB by sponsoring the European Deaf Badmington Championship.
