On 24 June, with the support of D Commerce Bank, free specialist cardiac surgery examinations were held at the “Dr Sergey Rostovtsev” Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment in Momchilgrad, carried out by the team of Prof. Dr Nikolay Dimitrov of Lozenets University Hospital, Sofia.
The initiative gave residents of Momchilgrad and the surrounding region the opportunity to receive highly specialised medical consultations and screening for cardiovascular disease. Thanks to it, dozens of people gained access to expert assessment and recommendations for follow-up care without having to travel to the capital.
