Under the Methodology for Determining the Variable Interest Rate on Loans to Individuals, in force from 01.01.2026, and in connection with the introduction of the euro as the national currency of the Republic of Bulgaria, D Commerce Bank replaced the Applicable Index for Individuals (AII) with PIFL-EURO. The Bank reviews and applies the values of PIFL-EURO twice a year, on 01.03 and 01.09.
The new value of PIFL-EURO, published on the website of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) https://bnb.bg/Statistics/StMonetaryInterestRate/StInterestRate/StIRIROnDeposits/StIRIROnDepositsHouseholdsAndNPISHs/index.htm and applicable for the period 01.03.2026 – 31.08.2026, is 0,40%
Under the Methodology and the Act on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, the overall interest rate on your loan remains unchanged.
