Under the Methodology for Determining the Variable Interest Rate on Loans to Individuals, effective from 01.01.2026 in connection with the introduction of the euro as the national currency of the Republic of Bulgaria, D Commerce Bank AD replaced the PIFL index with the PIFL-EURO index. The Bank reviews and applies the PIFL-EURO index value twice a year, on 01.03 and 01.09.
The new PIFL-EURO index value is published on the Bulgarian National Bank’s website https://bnb.bg/Statistics/StMonetaryInterestRate/StInterestRate/StIRIROnDeposits/StIRIROnDepositsHouseholdsAndNPISHs/index.htm and will apply for the period 01.09.2026 – 28.02.2027 is 0,45%
